Congratulations goes to Ramanan Ganesan for referring two students to the academy between October and December 2011! Ramanan received an 8GB iPod Nano! The iPod was presented to him at the Academy Recital on December 17th – hopefully Ramanan already has it filled with his favorite music!

- Personalized Gift Certificates Available! November 25, 2011
Give the gift that REALLY keeps on giving – New World Music Academy Gift Certificates are now available in $25, $50, $75 and $100 denominations and are transferable to anyone. Current academy students, beginning students, non-beginners studying elsewhere but looking for some extra guidance, and adults – anyone can use them. They can be used for academy merchandise (like t-shirts and music tote bags) or lesson tuition.
Gift certificates are available from the front desk staff Monday through Thursdays 12 noon to 6pm and Fridays noon to 3pm. Call or email your order details – we include the person’s name and instrument on each certificate along with the amount – we will have the certificate ready for you to pick up the same day in most cases.

- Academy Director Mark Anderson Releases New CD!! November 5, 2011
Hot off the press!! Academy director and pianist Mark Anderson has a new CD out THIS WEEK! It’s the piano music of the great Hans von Bülow. Although you might not have heard of him, he is very well known to most classical musicians because he was a great performer (piano) and conductor in the mid-late 19th century.
