New World Jazz Ensemble is comprised primarily of instructors from New World Music Academy in Pleasanton, California. The ensemble specializes in jazz “standards” by such great composers as George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, Billy Strayhorn, Count Basie and much more. The group also incorporates funk and latin styles. This ensemble can add the perfect touch of class to your party or event in one of our wide variety of formats; with front female vocalist for dancing or pure entertainment or as an instrumental group for more intimate or background settings. New World Jazz Ensemble comes in a wide variety of instrumentation for ultimate flexibility to cater to the client’s specific requirements.
