SoundArts Chamber Music @ NWMA

SoundArts is designed for intermediate and advanced music students. Young pianists and instrumentalists will be placed into small ensembles of 2 or more students and coached by NWMA faculty as well as special guest artists.

SoundArts musicians will learn the fundamentals of chamber music performance and explore its rich literature. The year-long session will include live performances* and video recording sessions uploaded to NWMA’s YouTube channel.

The SoundArts session runs from September (applications are due Sept. 15) through June. Throughout the year, small groups work with world-class ensemble coaches monthly and culminates with live and video-recorded performances.

Students who play chamber music are inspired and thrive.
