Get into the groove with group Jazz Piano for young jazz pianists with Grammy-nominated pianist John R Burr. This class builds on existing piano skills and provides a foundation for a wide variety of jazz, blues and pop styles. Groups take advantage of interactive learning while exchanging bass-lines, “comping patterns”, simple jazz voicings and improvisation of melodic lines. Open to all ages and to late elementary through advanced levels – a free evaluation is conducted after registration for proper class placement.
